Nothing less than your whole heart

Deb Markanton gave me the Heartfelt Award on Thursday. I love the look of it. If I ever figure out how to get a third column in this blog, it's going there. (Diana told me but I'm terrified of messing around with my blog and deleting and changing things. Someday, I'll grow a spine. Well, I'm not terrified... leery. I'm leery.)

Deb is one of the Flashy Fiction folks and just wonderful beyond all words. Her stories at Flashy Fiction are wicked awesome.
Do you reach for a cup of cocoa or tea when you're relaxing, seeking comfort, sharing a plate of cookies with family and friends? You know the feeling you get when you drink a yummy cup of cocoa, tea, or a hot toddy? That is what the Heartfelt Award is all about, feeling warm inside. Rules:Put the logo on your blog/post. Nominate up to to 9 blogs which make you feel comfy or warm inside. Be sure to link your nominees within your post. Let them know that they have been nominated by commenting on their blog. Remember to link to the person from whom you received your award.
I wanted to nominate Diana... who is off fraternizing with bears in the deep woods, but who has been helping me with Re: Straint. She is cool beyond words... and I'm wearing her ermine cloak for today... which is just as well because it would have made her bear bait.
You should definitely go visit her blog at :
Secondly, I wanted to nominate Mary because I love how completely honest she is. She's super nice and her blog is:
Now, it's time to get back to editing... sigh. (Sound of whip snapping)

  2. Wendy, thank you and you're making me blush! I look forward to your blog posts and am constantly amazed by your talent. For the record, you are also cool beyond words :)

And you were so right about not taking my cloak and scepter camping, which I should have clarified was beach camping this time. It went a lot better and was more fun than my first trip... I hope I'm not getting used to it. Oooh, I have a picture that may capture one of my issues with camping...
